Walpole Public Library
NEDI provided consulting, design and installation services to the Walpole Library. The space is used by a variety of town residents for events. Additionally, the local cable access TV (CATV) station broadcasts local government sessions (Selectman’s meeting for example) in the room. As a result, the technology in the room needed to be easy to use, yet accommodate a variety of needs.
Multipurpose Room
This was an existing room with a ceiling recessed projection screen and a projector on a cart that was rolled out when needed. A ceiling mounted Panasonic lampless laser/LED hybrid projector was installed to eliminate the need for setting up the portable projector. A new 16:10 screen was also installed in placed of the existing square format projection screen.
A Crestron DMPS video switcher/control processor was installed to allow for an all digital video solution with VGA and HDMI connections at the front of the room from an existing podium. A seven inch (7”) wall mounted Crestron touchpanel was installed near the podium to allow control of the system components which are housed within a locked room.
A TVOne universal signal processor was installed to allow in-room presentations to be sent directly into a production video switcher belonging to the local public access television station.
