Plymouth State University Doctoral Program
The University has opened a new Doctoral program. New construction completed to house the program included two classrooms, an Observation room and a Simulation Training Room. NEDI completed the following projects:
Room 1
This classroom system included a podium containing system components, a projector, a screen, and a ceiling mounted document camera. All components were controlled by a hard button touch panel and control processor.
Room 2
This classroom system included a podium containing system components, a projector, and a screen. At the back of the room, a 46” side wall mounted flat panel was installed for video re-enforcement so students in the back of the room could see content displayed. All components were controlled by a hard button touch panel and control processor.
Room 3
This room provides remote monitoring of a simulation room. Observers in this room are able to monitor and record the activities of students in Room 4. A 60” wall mounted display was installed on an articulating wall mount in the room. The room has a dual purpose in that it has presentation capability, as well as the remote monitoring and recording of Room 4.
Room 4
This simulation space serves as training for students. Students simulate treating patients and all activities are monitored and recorded by observers in Room 3. This simulation space includes a Pan Tilt Zoom (PTZ) ceiling mounted camera and a ceiling microphone.
